Do I always need to book?

Yes. It is strongly advised that you book in advance, especially during the high season, to avoid disappointment.

Who will enjoy a boat tour?

Everyone! Our boat tours are suitable for people of all ages. We customize each tour to create the best boat experience possible.

What’s your cancellation policy?

In the event of bad weather, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule on another day.
If you cancel your charter, tour, or ferry at least 24 hours before the scheduled time, you will receive a full refund.
To make changes to your schedule, please contact us via email as early as possible.

Can I book a last-minute boat trip in Malta?

Yes, we accept last-minute bookings if availability allows. However, advance booking is recommended, especially in summer.

What’s the difference between the Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon?

Blue Lagoon is famous for its shallow, bright blue water and sand. Crystal Lagoon is deeper, great for snorkeling and quieter than Blue Lagoon.

Is Comino safe to visit with kids?

Yes. Comino has calm bays and shallow areas. Our trips are ideal for families, with shaded seating and swim stops in safe locations.

How long does it take to reach Comino from Malta?

By boat, it takes about 10–15 minutes from our base near Ċirkewwa to Comino, depending on sea conditions.

Are your tours suitable for non-swimmers?

Yes. Life jackets are provided, and our boat stays close to calm, shallow bays. Non-swimmers can still enjoy the views and boat experience

Do I need to bring my own snorkel gear?

No. Mask and snorkel are included in all boat trips and rentals at no extra cost.

Where can we leave our car while on our boat trip?

There are car parks available at all our starting point locations.

What is the best time of year to visit the Blue Lagoon in Malta?

The best time is between May and October. June and September offer warm weather with fewer crowds than peak summer.

Have you got lifejackets on board?

Yes. Life jackets are available for both adults and children. They are mandatory for certain activities and available upon request for all trips.

Is snorkelling equipment included?

Yes, mask and snorkel are included with all private boat trips and self-drive boat rentals.

Are the Private boat trips private or shared?

All of our boat trips are completely private. You and your group will have the boat and skipper entirely to yourselves.

Do your private boat trips go to the Blue Lagoon?

Yes. All our private Malta boat tours include stops at the Blue Lagoon, Comino island and Crystal Lagoon. We anchor in the bluest, clearest waters away from the crowds so you can swim directly off the boat.

What’s included in a private boat charter?

Each trip includes a skipper, shaded seating, Bluetooth speakers, mask and snorkel, and an ice box with ice. We visit scenic spots like the Comino Caves, Crystal Lagoon, San Niklaw Bay, and more.

Can I customize my boat trip?

Absolutely. Let us know what you want to see, and we’ll tailor the route to include hidden coves, snorkel stops, natural rock formations, and Gozo's southern coastline if requested.

What is the boat’s capacity?

We have various boats, so depending on your group, we will the perfect boat for you.

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes! All private boat charters are BYO. Bring your own snacks, meals, and drinks (including alcohol). We provide an ice box on board for your convenience.

Are we allowed to bring alcohol aboard?

Yes, responsible alcohol consumption is allowed on private boat tours with skipper. We recommend bringing cans or plastic bottles rather than glass for safety reasons

What should I bring on a private boat trip?

We suggest swimwear, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, water, and a phone or camera for photos. A full checklist is sent after booking.

Can I go inside the caves during the boat trip?

Yes, when sea conditions are safe. Our skippers guide the boat into certain caves like Lovers Cave and Santa Marija Caves

Do your boats have music on board?

Yes. All private charter boats come with Bluetooth speakers, so you can connect your phone and play your own music.

Can I celebrate a birthday or proposal on the boat?

Absolutely! We can help you plan surprises, bring decorations, or suggest the most romantic photo spots during your trip.

Do your boat trips include Gozo?

Yes, we visit Gozo—especially on longer trips. On request, we explore the island’s stunning southern coastline including Hondoq Bay, Halfa Rock, and remote coves. Some of our longer private boat tours can even take you all around Gozo, including highlights like San Blas Bay, Ramla Beach, the Inland Sea and Dwejra, Xwejni Salt Pans, and hidden caves along the rugged north coast.

Are towels or food included?

No. Towels and food are not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. There’s an ice box with ice on board.

Can I go diving from the boat?

While we don’t offer diving gear, experienced divers can jump in to explore reef areas and wrecks like the P31 near Comino.

What’s the maximum group size for private boat trips?

Depending on the boat, we can accommodate between 6 and 14 people comfortably. For larger groups, we also have options to arrange boats for up to 20 people or more. Just contact us and we’ll recommend the best setup for your group size and trip style.

Do I need a license to ride a jet ski?

No license is required to rent or ride a jet ski in Malta. Our jet ski activities are fully supervised and available to all clients aged 18 or older.

Do I need prior experience?

No prior experience is needed. Before your session, we provide a complete safety briefing and orientation so you're confident operating the jet ski.

How long can I rent a jet ski?

You can choose between 10, 20, or 30-minute rentals. We also offer 1-hour and 2-hour guided jet ski safaris around Comino, Crystal Lagoon, and hidden coastal spots.

What’s included in a jet ski safari?

Jet ski safaris include a local guide, life jacket, fuel, and a scenic route around iconic Comino locations including the Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and sea caves.

Where do the jet skis depart from?

All jet ski rentals and safaris depart from our supervised floating platform near Ċirkewwa, conveniently close to Comino and the Blue Lagoon.

Can I bring a passenger?

Yes, but the combined weight must not exceed 160 kg. For optimal comfort and safety, we recommend younger passengers ride at slower speeds.

Are there any riding restrictions?

Jet skis must stay within the designated channel between Malta and Comino, remaining 200 meters away from all shorelines. Reckless riding or stunts are not permitted.

Can kids ride?

Passengers must be at least 7 years old. To drive, you must be 18+ with a valid ID.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes. The maximum combined weight is 160 kg per jet ski.

Do I need a license to rent a boat?

No license is required. Our self-drive boat rentals are ideal for guests over 18 who want to explore independently. Valid ID and a mobile phone are required.

Is previous boating experience necessary?

Some prior boating experience is preferred but not mandatory. We provide a safety briefing and recommend routes. Beginners should stick to open waters and avoid tight bays or anchoring near rocks.

How big are the boats?

Our boats are 19-foot models that seat up to 7 people. They are modern, clean, fast, and include a sunshade, ladder, anchor, cushioned seats, and steering wheel.

What’s included in the rental?

Is fuel included?

No. Fuel is charged based on the amount used and paid at the end of your rental.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive at least one hour before your scheduled rental. This ensures enough time for check-in, instructions, and your safety briefing.

What happens if I return the boat late?

Late returns will incur a charge of €5 per minute beyond the rental time.

Do I need a security deposit?

Yes, a €399 cash deposit is required and will be refunded at the end of your trip if the boat is returned undamaged and on time

Can I bring alcohol or smoke?

No. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed during self-drive boat rentals. All guests must remain sober at all times.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, small pets are welcome with prior approval. Owners are fully responsible for their pet’s safety on board.

What safety measures should I follow?

• Always stay under 5 knots near beaches and shores
• Keep at least 100 meters from other boats and cliffs
• Never enter caves or rocky areas
• Use the anchor correctly and only in approved locations

What happens if there’s a technical issue?

If the boat has technical issues before departure, we will refund or reschedule. For assistance while at sea, call our emergency number.

Where can I go with the boat?

You can explore Comino, Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and southern Gozo depending on weather conditions. We will guide you on the safest and most scenic route before departure.

Where do watersports take place?

Towable watersports and Subwing start from our coastal base near Ćirkewwa.

What is Subwing?

Subwing lets you glide underwater while towed gently by a boat. It's a relaxing and surreal experience suitable for all skill levels.

Is equipment included?

Yes, we provide life jackets and all necessary gear for your safety and enjoyment.

Are there age or weight limits?

Most towables are suitable for ages 8+. Please follow guide instructions. Subwing is great for teens and adults.

What is the Crazy Sofa ride?

The Crazy Sofa is a fun, high-speed towable watersport where you sit on an inflatable sofa-shaped raft while being pulled behind a boat. It's perfect for groups of 2 to 6 riders and offers lots of laughter and splashes!

How long does the Crazy Sofa ride last?

Each ride lasts approximately 10–15 minutes, which is plenty of time to enjoy the thrill without exhausting yourself. You can book multiple sessions.

Is it safe?

Yes. All riders are provided with certified life jackets and briefed on safety before the ride. Our experienced team monitors every ride to ensure full safety and fun.

What should I wear?

Swimwear is best! You'll definitely get wet. We recommend water shoes or secure sandals (no flip flops).

Is there a minimum age?

Riders must be at least 8 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I ride with my friends or family?

Yes, the Crazy Sofa can take multiple riders at once, making it ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends looking to have fun together.

How do I redeem a gift certificate?

Gift certificates can be redeemed for the specific service they were purchased for. When booking online, simply enter your unique code during checkout or contact us to apply it manually.

Can I use a gift certificate for any activity?

Gift certificates must be used for the designated activity stated at the time of purchase. They are not transferable across multiple bookings.

Can I split a gift certificate across different days?

No, gift certificates must be redeemed in one full transaction and cannot be split across multiple days or activities.

When do gift certificates expire?

Gift certificates are valid from November 1st to October 31st of the following season. Expired certificates cannot be refunded or extended.

Can I buy a gift certificate for someone else?

Yes! Gift certificates make excellent presents and can be issued under the recipient's name or left open for them to personalize.

Will we visit all the places listed, or can we choose between a land and boat tour?

Yes, you will visit all the featured locations. Our cruise-friendly itinerary includes the Blue Lagoon, Comino, Crystal Lagoon, Blue Grotto, and Mdina, providing a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Is this a private or semi-private tour?

All our cruise liner tours are 100% private. You’ll have exclusive access to a private boat and taxi, ensuring comfort and flexibility throughout the day.

Will I make it back to the cruise ship on time?

Absolutely. We carefully schedule our tours around your cruise’s arrival and departure times. Your return to the ship is fully guaranteed.

What happens if the cruise ship doesn’t dock?

If your cruise ship is unable to dock in Malta, we will issue you a full refund with no cancellation fees.

Where will you pick us up?

We arrange private taxi pickup directly from Valletta Cruise Port or your ship’s arrival terminal. Just provide your ship name and docking time during booking.

Is the taxi included in the price?

Yes, the full package includes private taxi transfers, the boat charter, and any stops noted in the itinerary.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel at least one week in advance to receive a full refund. Short-notice cancellations are handled case-by-case depending on circumstances.

Is the price per person or per group?

The quoted price is for the entire group. For example, a group of 8 people paying €439 totals to just over €54 per person.

Can we swim on this tour?

Definitely! You can swim in the Blue Lagoon and at other stops along the way. Snorkel equipment and ladders are provided for easy water access.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes. Feel free to bring snacks, meals, and drinks, including alcohol. We recommend cans or plastic bottles for safety.

Is there a place to buy food or drinks before the tour?

Yes. There’s a café near the departure point where you can purchase refreshments, snacks, or coffee before you board.

Is there shade on the boat?

Yes, all boats used for cruise excursions include shaded seating areas to keep you cool and comfortable.

Are there restrooms on board?

Our boats do not have restrooms, but facilities are available at the port and at certain stops like Blue Lagoon.
